What is a Re-sound Gong Immersion Sound Bath?

In a nut shell our sessions are designed to help you relax and destress. We believe that a lot of our physical and emotional issues can be supported by taking time to simply rest, receive and reset. In our sessions you will lie on your mat (or you can sit if you need) and be taken through our unique sound bath, just relax and hear the soundscape unfold. Our sessions have a special signature to support you through your sound journey. All of the instruments are played intuitively which creates a new and exciting experience at each session. A 60min Re-sound session follows the following sequence:

1) The Opening

• Setting the tone for sacred space: smudging, intention-setting, breathwork, or meditation

• Use of subtle instruments: soft chimes, rain sticks, subtle harmonics

• Purpose: calm the nervous system and anchor participants into presence

2) The Grounding

• Bring in medicine drum, ocean drum

• Begin weaving a gentle rhythm or pattern

• Invite people into presence, past the thinking mind

• Energy: tranquil, but immersive

3) The Lift

• Introduce sustained tones: bowls, Freenotes Wave

• Invite the bowls to sing in harmony to support feelings of relaxation

• Energy: light, angelic and mystical

4) The Portal

• The longest of the sections lasting at least 30min.

• Introduction of the gong bringing through drones and beats.

• Raising to peaks in volume and intensity and lowering again. Peaks and valleys to allow your personal journey to unfold.

• This is the cathartic phase—evoking deep emotional movement, energetic release, possible dream-like visions

• Use of contrast and volume intentionally, but with care and awareness

• Followed by a moment of stillness or silence for integration

5) The Earthing

• A gentle guide back to the Earth and the senses

• Nature sounds return: rain pillar, chimes, medicine drum soft drumming or heartbeat rhythm

• Energy begins to come back to the conscious mind and wake up the body

6) The Harmony

• Softer, melodic instruments return: Freenotes, Light chimes, grounding tones (deep bowls)

• Energy takes a small shift upward with a final invitation to the gong to sound—joy, connection, grounding in the heart

• Invite back into the body with breath

• Verbal guidance, silence and time for community/sharing

Re-sound Mission

At Re-sound, our mission is to help you Rest, Reset and Go!

We offer immersive sound experiences. As the gong and other instruments unfold around you, simply allow yourself to be carried by the sound — resting your body and mind with intention. Through this reset, you reconnect with your energy and purpose, feeling ready to step back into the world with clarity and confidence. Re-sound’s hope is that after each session you will be ready to take up space, make some noise, and show up as the best version of yourself.

My Story (So far…)

Re-sound has been quietly forming behind the scenes for years—shaped by every challenge, every trauma, and every moment of growth. Each experience sent me on a mission to heal, to become stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to face whatever came next. But healing isn’t linear. I found myself falling into the same pit over and over—even when I saw it coming.

Through the years, I’ve lived with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and alcohol misuse. I say “lived with” rather than “suffered from” because, although those times were dark and difficult, they taught me how to grow. Each day felt like a battle to care about anything, to find a spark of energy—but now I see those moments as necessary. The deeper you go into darkness, the more determined you become to find the brightest light.

That light, for me, is sound.

Sound is a healer—physically, emotionally, spiritually. We all know the power of music: the song that lifts us up, the playlist that mends a broken heart, the rhythm that gets us ready to take on the world. In my hardest moments, I found peace in ambient music and the sounds of nature. They helped quiet the mental noise. I didn’t know it then, but that was the beginning of Re-sound.

Of all the instruments I’ve encountered, the gong speaks to me most. Its deep, resonant tones wrap around you, pulling your awareness away from overthinking and into presence. The mind surrenders to the sound, allowing the body to rest, to release, and to heal.

So much of our stress begins in the mind and seeps into the body. It’s our signal to slow down, breathe, and reset. Re-sound is my way of doing just that—and now, I want to share it with you.

My hope is that everyone finds a way to step back from life, gain perspective, and remember what truly matters to them. When you're ready, Re-sound is here to welcome you.
